This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced R programmer to join a clinical PK/PD team, supporting sponsor-dedicated studies and contributing to critical data analyses. You will work with clinical trial datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency while generating high-quality tables, graphs, and derived datasets. The position emphasizes data integrity, CDISC compliance, and advanced programming to support exposure-response analyses and reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply statistical and visualization techniques, and develop innovative tools that improve the efficiency of the programming group. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, results-driven environment and enjoys applying technical expertise to support clinical research outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Clean, transform, and prepare clinical trial data from multiple sources for PK/PD analysis.
- Develop and execute R or Rmarkdown code for descriptive and statistical analyses of PK/PD data.
- Create clear, informative tables, graphs, and visualizations to communicate analysis findings effectively.
- Ensure data and outputs comply with CDISC standards (SEND, SDTM, ADaM) for regulatory submissions.
- Perform validation and quality control on programming code and analysis results to maintain data integrity.
- Identify issues and develop tools that enhance efficiency and capacity within the Clinical PK/PD Programming group.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and study teams to implement advanced modeling and statistical procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in clinical data programming.
- Advanced R programming skills, including tidyverse, ggplot2, Markdown, Quarto, and Shiny.
- Knowledge of CDISC standards (SEND, SDTM, ADaM).
- Familiarity with clinical PK/PD concepts and related data programming is highly desirable.
- Experience visualizing and presenting data for internal stakeholders or clients.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial data, including handling uncleaned or complex datasets.
- Professional attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and develop innovative solutions.
- Additional programming skills in Python or SAS are a plus but not required.
