Node.js Software Engineer 2 (Remote - US)

Accountabilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain performant, scalable, and secure Node.js RESTful services.
• Build and enhance cloud-based software products, ensuring code quality and reliability.
• Debug, monitor, and resolve issues in existing services while delivering new features.
• Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to best practices in Node.js development, including testing, design patterns, and software paradigms.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience designing and implementing Node.js RESTful services.
• Experience developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based Node.js applications.
• Proficiency with Fastify or Express frameworks.
• Strong debugging skills and experience maintaining high-quality codebases.
• Solid understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Preferred: TypeScript experience, familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or AWS, Docker/Kubernetes experience, and knowledge of Open API Specification/Swagger.
• Self-driven, collaborative, and committed to execution excellence.
