We are seeking a skilled Network Security Administrator/Analyst to safeguard enterprise systems and cloud environments while ensuring high availability and compliance. In this role, you will monitor network infrastructure, implement security controls, and troubleshoot complex issues across AWS and on-premises systems. You will collaborate with global teams, participate in audits, and contribute to cloud security strategies that protect critical business assets. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, security-focused environment where your expertise directly impacts operational reliability and customer trust. You will help shape security practices, support incident management, and drive continuous improvements in network protection and compliance standards.
Accountabilities
- Monitor network traffic, alerts, and logs to maintain uptime and security.
- Implement, configure, and maintain firewall rules and network security controls.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on network and firewall troubleshooting.
- Participate in SOC and client-driven security audits to ensure compliance.
- Configure and manage endpoints and direct connections to AWS services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security groups, IAM, and cloud security services.
- Support delivery of cloud security services and contribute to cloud security strategy, readiness, and assessment initiatives.
- Respond to incident escalations and manage problem resolution, including participation in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS architecture and security.
- Strong knowledge of network hardening, cloud-based firewalls, and routing protocols.
- Experience with IT security risk assessments and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27000 or NIST 800 series.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Linux and/or Windows Server operating systems.
- Experience with cloud data protection and identity/access management for IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with cloud security vendors and monitoring solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with global teams.
