As a Junior Automation Developer, you will contribute to designing and implementing AI-powered automation solutions that streamline workflows and improve user productivity. You will work with cutting-edge tools, including browser automation frameworks, AI coding assistants, and modern development practices, to create impactful solutions in the healthcare space. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) while collaborating closely with product and design teams to develop user-centric, scalable automation projects. You will participate in the full software lifecycle, from prototyping and coding to testing and deployment, while continuously learning and applying emerging technologies.
Accountabilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Node.js/JavaScript and frameworks like Stagehand.
- Develop browser extensions to optimize workflows and increase user productivity.
- Leverage AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for rapid development, debugging, and prototyping.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver user-focused automation solutions.
- Participate in product design discussions, emphasizing usability, workflow optimization, and automation opportunities.
- Contribute to version control processes using Git, manage pull requests, and maintain code quality.
- Assist with testing, documentation, and deployment of automation projects to ensure reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, OR 1–2 years of equivalent development/automation experience.
- Strong foundation in JavaScript/Node.js development.
- Experience with browser automation frameworks, preferably Stagehand.
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
- Interest in healthcare-focused automation and RPA solutions.
- Understanding of product design principles, user experience, and workflow optimization.
- Experience with Git/version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
