This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT Architect & System Administrator in the United States.
In this role, you will lead the organization’s technology strategy, ensuring that systems, infrastructure, and data operate securely, efficiently, and cohesively across corporate and field environments. You will design and implement IT roadmaps, optimize enterprise systems, enforce cybersecurity standards, and enable seamless collaboration across teams. This hands-on leadership position allows you to influence technology decisions, integrate complex systems, and guide a high-performing IT team. You will play a critical role in supporting organizational growth, operational reliability, and mission-driven initiatives, while fostering innovation and best practices in IT.
Accountabilities
- Develop and execute a strategic IT roadmap aligned with business goals across corporate, field, and remote environments.
- Manage IT budgeting, vendor selection, and contracts to ensure operational and fiscal efficiency.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and enterprise systems.
- Lead administration and optimization of key platforms, including CRM, ERP, and collaboration tools.
- Oversee cybersecurity programs, policies, and compliance with ISO, NIST, SOC2, and privacy standards.
- Direct incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Integrate operational and field data into enterprise systems for visibility, analytics, and reporting.
- Build and mentor a high-performing IT team focused on reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
- Manage device lifecycle, asset management, and conduct audits, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role managing corporate and distributed infrastructure.
- Hands-on expertise in infrastructure, networking, and enterprise systems, with strategic IT planning experience.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS), MS 365 access controls, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Proven experience with Salesforce (admin and development), NetSuite, and Power BI.
- Demonstrated success implementing and integrating SaaS and cloud-based platforms across departments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, bridging technical and business perspectives.
- Commitment to operational reliability, data integrity, and customer-focused service delivery.
- Nice-to-have: Master’s degree, certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, AWS, Salesforce Admin/Developer, and experience in energy, construction, utilities, or EV infrastructure sectors.
