This role is ideal for a skilled data professional who thrives on turning complex data into actionable insights. As an Analyst/Programmer Specialist, you will design, develop, and maintain dynamic business intelligence reports while integrating data from multiple sources. You will ensure high-quality data management and reporting solutions, proactively resolving bottlenecks and optimizing performance. Working independently in a remote environment, you will collaborate closely with supervisors and stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful analytics. The position requires strong SQL programming, ETL experience, and familiarity with master data management, all while contributing to the continuous improvement of data processes and reporting systems.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive and dynamic business intelligence reports.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into unified reporting systems.
- Assist in the design and implementation of Master Data Management solutions.
- Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Follow SQL development best practices and ensure deployment, scheduling, and security of reports.
- Communicate progress, needs, and planning with supervisors regularly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the analytics and reporting function.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 6 years of IT experience with at least 4 years in data analytics and reporting.
- Strong programming skills in T-SQL, PL/pgSQL, or other relevant languages.
- Experience in PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and SSIS for ETL and data transformation.
- Knowledge of Master Data Management, database design, schema creation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in SSRS, including report deployment, scheduling, and security.
- Experience with Atlassian tools and familiarity with SSAS, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting project deadlines.
