We are seeking a Head of Data Analytics to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of an AI-first data function. This role will oversee a high-impact team, delivering scalable analytics products, actionable insights, and fostering a culture of self-service. The position requires close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize data initiatives that inform product, operational, and growth decisions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking and strong leadership skills, driving measurable business impact while enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Accountabilities
- Lead the overall data and analytics strategy, building an AI-first function that delivers scalable, self-service insights across the business.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize data initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists and analysts to enhance quality, efficiency, and impact of analytics work.
- Build reusable, well-documented analytics assets and data products that accelerate decision-making.
- Promote a self-service data culture by enabling business users to explore and utilize data through dashboards, tools, and training.
- Deliver advanced analytics, including forecasting, segmentation, behavioral analysis, and predictive modeling to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility while balancing speed of execution.
- Stay current with advancements in AI, ML, and analytics, applying emerging technologies to improve business outcomes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or mathematical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- 10+ years of experience transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
- Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams of analysts and data scientists.
- Deep technical expertise in SQL, Python, and experience with analytics/visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks) and modern AI/ML frameworks.
- Strong business acumen and experience applying data strategy in fintech, banking, or high-growth environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of influencing senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to evolving needs, and promote a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of data modeling, scalable self-service environments, and familiarity with Lakehouse or Medallion architecture is a plus.
