Fullstack Engineer (Web3)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Fullstack Engineer (Web3) in the European Union.

As a Fullstack Engineer (Web3), you will be part of a dynamic software development team building next-generation SaaS and API-first products for blockchain and DeFi applications. You will contribute to both frontend and backend development, implement new features, ensure software security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your work will have a direct impact on the platform’s functionality and user experience while maintaining high standards for performance, reliability, and security. This role provides the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge blockchain technology, improve engineering practices, and participate in shaping the technical direction of the platform in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new features across frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (PHP/Laravel, REST API).
• Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, testing, CI/CD processes, and bug fixing.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Smart Contract teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure software security compliance (SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 standards).
• Interact with customers for debugging, product discovery, and support.
• Continuously propose improvements to the platform and engineering practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer (Frontend, Backend, or Fullstack).
• Strong TypeScript and React development experience in production environments.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including testing, CI/CD, DevOps, and security.
• Experience in collaborative, team-based development environments (sprints, code reviews, standups).
• Solid understanding of Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency, including DeFi and staking protocols.
• Problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and ability to balance speed with thoroughness.
• Fluent in English.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Ethereum Virtual Machine and smart contracts.
• Knowledge of dApp development using libraries such as Wagmi or Viem.
• PHP/Laravel programming experience.
• Proximity to Paris or London.
