Field Performance Specialist (Midwest Region of the U.S.)

This role provides a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence and support field teams across the Midwest. You will work closely with General Agents and their staff to ensure key performance targets are met while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. The position combines leadership, coaching, and strategic oversight, with regular field visits to evaluate performance and implement operational improvements. The role demands a balance of analytical skills, hands-on leadership, and a deep understanding of operational best practices in insurance and financial services.

Accountabilities:

• Oversee and manage activities across assigned field agencies to achieve core business metrics, including production, manpower, applications, and IARs.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and motivation to General Agents, Assistant General Agents, Field Agents, and administrative staff.
• Conduct regular in-person visits to assess agency performance, provide operational support, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to implement field development strategies and resolve operational challenges.
• Support operational improvements and contribute to process optimization initiatives across the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in life insurance administration or a comparable field.
• Strong understanding of insurance operations and practices.
• Proven leadership and management capabilities, with experience motivating and guiding teams.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional insurance certifications such as FIC, FLMI, or CLU preferred.
• Ability to handle client and operational complaints effectively.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; travel within the designated region required.
