This role is ideal for an experienced environmental professional who will lead and manage due diligence projects, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). You will oversee project execution, from site reconnaissance to reporting, while coordinating internal teams and subcontractors. The position offers a hybrid/remote working environment with local or regional travel, providing a dynamic setting for hands-on fieldwork and technical analysis. You will interpret complex data, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support clients with actionable insights. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to deliver projects efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your contributions will directly impact environmental risk assessment and decision-making for a diverse client base.

Accountabilities

  • Plan, develop, coordinate, implement, and manage environmental due diligence projects.
  • Conduct site assessments, interpret field and laboratory data, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Review work output to ensure compliance with client expectations and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate project activities among internal teams and subcontractors for timely delivery.
  • Advise supervisors on deviations from standards, scope, or project plans, recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards.
  • Promote services to expand business opportunities and support client engagement.
  • Maintain project budgets and schedules, supporting invoicing and financial tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum six years of practical experience in environmental consulting or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments; Phase II experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
  • Knowledge of environmental industry terminology, principles, and practices.
  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
  • Proven project management, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
