This role offers a strategic opportunity to design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures that protect critical systems, applications, and data across a global organization. You will lead security initiatives, perform risk assessments, and embed security requirements throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry frameworks and regulatory standards. Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and operations teams, you will provide technical guidance and subject-matter expertise on emerging threats, cloud security, and DevSecOps practices. This position requires a visionary approach to cybersecurity, combining hands-on technical skills with the ability to shape long-term security strategies and policies. You will also support incident response, customer inquiries, and security awareness initiatives, driving both proactive and reactive security measures.
Accountabilities:
- Design, review, and develop comprehensive security architectures for systems, networks, and cloud environments.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and security audits, communicating findings and mitigation strategies effectively.
- Develop, update, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to integrate security requirements into projects and solutions.
- Provide technical expertise during security incidents and coordinate with incident response teams.
- Stay informed on evolving threat landscapes, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Support customer security assessments, questionnaires, and compliance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or a related role.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, SOC, and ISO 27001.
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and application security.
- Proficiency with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, SIEM, intrusion detection, and vulnerability scanning.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation languages (Terraform, Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with container security, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CEH) are highly valued.
