Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Software System Implementation Project Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Software System Implementation Project Manager in the United States.

As an EAM Software System Implementation Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise asset management software implementations across multiple departments. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires balancing technical knowledge, project management expertise, and client-facing leadership to ensure the successful deployment of complex software systems. You will be instrumental in driving change, optimizing processes, and providing strategic guidance while fostering strong client relationships and mentoring team members. With a focus on collaboration, organization, and results, you will contribute directly to operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Accountabilities:

• Lead project delivery teams consisting of internal staff, client stakeholders, and external technical professionals to implement EAM software systems.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with client goals and governance structures.
• Coordinate task assignments, facilitate client meetings, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Document decision-making processes, risks, and dependencies, providing regular status updates and recommendations.
• Support business development activities, including RFP responses, client presentations, and participation in industry events.
• Mentor and coach project team members to drive accountability, alignment, and excellence in delivery.
• Ensure quality assurance, proactive problem-solving, and adoption of best practices across implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience working with state or local government in asset management, CMMS/EAM implementations, project management, or business process analysis.
• Experience implementing EAM systems such as CentralSquare (Lucity), Cityworks, Hexagon, IBM Maximo, Infor, KloudGin, NEXGEN, OpenGov (Cartegraph), Oracle, or Vueworks.
• Project management certification (PMP or CAPM) or organizational change management certification preferred.
• Strong consulting or software implementation experience in the public sector, including requirements gathering, process analysis, and system testing.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly (up to 50%) and work Pacific Time hours.
