Accountabilities:
- Lead the technical direction for data engineering projects and initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines and architectures using PySpark, AWS, and Databricks.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and high code quality.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data stakeholders to solve enterprise-scale data challenges.
- Analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot complex data workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Hands-on expertise with Python, SQL, PySpark, AWS, and Databricks.
- Experience leading technical teams or projects with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of data architecture, pipeline design, and enterprise-scale data management.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Comfortable working remotely with a dedicated home office setup.
