Computer Scientist (Remote - US)

In this role, you will contribute to the development, integration, and support of complex software applications within a dynamic technical environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, program, test, and document software solutions, including modeling and simulation programs. The position emphasizes hands-on development using modern programming languages and frameworks while maintaining robust database systems. You will support both front-end and back-end technologies and participate in evaluating software performance, ensuring quality and scalability. This role is ideal for problem-solvers passionate about creating innovative solutions and advancing technical capabilities in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. Travel may be required on short notice to support client needs.

Accountabilities

• Design, analyze, program, integrate, and test software applications.
• Develop modeling and simulation programs and change tracking applications.
• Conduct software testing using various testing tools and methodologies.
• Maintain and design databases, including writing SQL queries, building tables, and creating stored procedures.
• Utilize programming experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript, and frameworks like Oracle ADF, Angular, or React.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive software documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure software quality and operational efficiency.
• Travel as required to client sites to provide technical support and project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in software design, development, integration, testing, and documentation.
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (Oracle ADF, Angular, React, or similar).
• Advanced database skills with Oracle, including SQL query writing and stored procedure development.
• Experience conducting software testing with various tools and methodologies.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and provide solutions in complex technical environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 integration.
• Knowledge of Oracle Project Integration Framework or similar accelerators.
• Experience with financial application development and project monitoring systems.
