This role offers the opportunity to guide clients in transforming their processes through automation, helping them achieve efficiency, scalability, and measurable results. You will act as both a strategic advisor and technical expert, working closely with Managed Service Providers to identify automation opportunities, design workflows, and implement solutions. The position requires a deep understanding of IT processes, scripting, and APIs, combined with strong client engagement skills. This role blends technical problem-solving, relationship management, and project oversight to ensure automation initiatives are successful and aligned with client objectives. It is a remote-friendly position with occasional in-person collaboration.
Accountabilities:
- Analyze client processes to identify automation opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Advise clients on automation strategies, building custom workflows using scripting and tool integrations.
- Assist in implementing new automations and provide technical enablement and support.
- Develop familiarity with multiple APIs and toolsets to guide clients on integrating and automating key processes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and adoption of automation practices.
- Create strategic automation adoption plans and manage multiple client accounts, balancing technical guidance with high-level strategic insights.
- Support education and enablement around automation within client organizations.
Requirements
- Strong background in automation, scripting, programming, and IT fundamentals.
- Experience with APIs and integrating multiple toolsets to enable automated workflows.
- Proven track record in technical account management or other customer-facing IT roles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
- Deep understanding of Managed Service Providers’ processes and operational challenges.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex scenarios.
- Bonus: Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, Python, Jinja, SQL, PowerShell, or similar programming skills.
