In this role, you will focus on ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of investment management software through advanced automated testing practices. You will design, implement, and maintain test frameworks, collaborate closely with development and product teams, and validate critical business logic for financial products, portfolios, and trade lifecycles. The position involves working in an agile environment with end-to-end responsibility for test planning, execution, and reporting, while applying best practices for automation, CI/CD integration, and defect management. Your contributions will directly enhance software quality, client satisfaction, and regulatory compliance in investment management solutions. This role provides exposure to modern testing frameworks, financial domain expertise, and opportunities to influence automation strategy at scale.

Accountabilities

• Analyze requirements and ensure software meets functional and non-functional expectations, particularly in the investment management domain.
• Create comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases, estimating efforts and assigning tasks efficiently.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, implementing industry best practices.
• Identify, report, and track defects while preparing detailed test reports and metrics for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and clients to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes.
• Validate business logic for investment products, verify portfolio calculations, reconcile trade lifecycles, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with strong expertise in automation for web applications.
• Knowledge of investment management, including financial products, portfolio management, trade lifecycle, and compliance regulations.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, TestComplete, Selenium WebDriver, GIT, Jenkins, and defect tracking systems (JIRA, TFS).
• Skilled in programming/scripting languages including Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, or VBScript.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, and automation tools like UFT, TOSCA, Katalon Studio, Appium, or Protractor.
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborating in client-facing environments.
• Ability to create dashboards, analyze test execution data, and provide actionable insights.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
