Who We're Looking For
We're seeking aManual QA Engineer who brings curiosity, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to dig deep into complex systems to find edge cases, inconsistencies, and broken flows before users do.

Primary Responsibilities
- Review requirements and user stories to create comprehensive, structured, and well-documented test cases
- Execute manual tests across multiple platforms (web, mobile, APIs) to identify bugs, inconsistencies, or usability issues
- Log and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and improve product quality
- Perform regression testing before releases and after bug fixes
- Provide detailed documentation of test results and QA metrics
Some Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role focused on manual testing
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience testing responsive web applications, APIs, and backend systems
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and test documentation
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
Nice to Have's:
- Experience with Postman, Swagger, or similar tools for API testing
- Exposure to automated testing tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
- Familiarity with basic SQL for data validation
- Experience testing mobile apps (iOS/Android)

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
