This is a remote position.
The X++ Developer is responsible for developing and customizing Dynamics 365 F&O solutions using X++. Primary purpose will be on development, integration, and customisation of software to support IT projects. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimating work content, planned timelines, and communicating proposed designs and progress on solutions.
- Design, develop and customise Dynamics 365 F&O applications, reports and workspaces using X++.
- Desing, develop and build complex custom modules within D365 F&O that are scalable to hundreds of users to enable added functionality
- Build and enhance Electronic Reporting (ER) configurations aligned with business requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using standard frameworks.
- Support data migration activities, ensuring integrity and quality of transferred data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate proposed designs and progress, ensuring applications meet business needs & direction, customer requirements and agreed completion dates.
- Participate in end-to-end implementations, from requirement gathering to deployment and post-go-live support.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to software development, including requirements, design documents, user manuals and technical support to end users as needed.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimise existing code for performance, scalability ensuring code quality and standards are upheld.
- Continuously improve development processes, tools, and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of application development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest X++ technologies and trends to identify new opportunities for innovation.
- Demonstrate the expected leadership behaviours and mindsets in the context of Personal Leadership.
- Recommend new systems, upgrades or modifications, ensure data integrity and data management.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, accurate, and timely reporting of project implementation, including process change, documentation, system implementation, user training, project costs and support.
- Address and remediate any security vulnerability findings.
Requirements
Technical/Educational Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of work experience
- Microsoft Dynamics X++ development experience is essential (MS Certifications)
- Experience with APIs and connectors to integrate with other systems.
- Extensive experience in requirements gathering, gap/fit assessment, solution design, testing principles, project management methodologies and practices.
- Extensive knowledge in Office 365, Power Platform, Logic Apps & Azure Services.
