To enable the Global Finance Team to enhance its support to the business and operate effectively, the role of Banking and Treasury Analyst requires a collaborative and focussed finance professional.
As Banking and Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for posting all banking transactions and performing reconciliations across Insights’ global banking network. Additionally, you will support the Financial Controller with global treasury management, helping to ensure robust cash management and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Post all incoming and outgoing transaction accurately and in a timely manner across all Insights’ global entities.
- Ensure correct coding and allocation of transactions in D365.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliation across multiple currencies and accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and ledger entries.
- Liaise with our internal finance teams and banks to resolve posting or reconciliation issues.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for all banking transactions and reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring all bank-related entries are complete and accurate.
- Assist the Financial Controller in managing group-wide treasury activities, including cash forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Prepare and analyse treasury reports to support decision-making on cash utilisation, investment, and debt management.
- Participate in treasury-related projects such as bank rationalisation, FX strategy reviews, and treasury system enhancements.
- Apply Group finance accounting policies and ensure that finance data and processes are optimised.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft D365) and banking platforms.
- Experience with multi-currency bank reconciliations.
- You will be interested in continuing your professional development to ensure you are always technically up to date.
- A proactive thinker who will anticipate issues and solve them before they impact our business.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Knowledge of when to ask for assistance.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
