This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis.
Job Location: Remote
18-month contract
Pay rate: ($10,000 - $12,000+/month)
Hours: M-F 8am – 5pm
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Work with team members to ensure alignment of the ERP system with business processes.
- Customize ERP software to fulfill company requirements.
- Identify system problems and troubleshoot solutions.
- Update system, applications, and functionalities as needed.
- Train employees on the use of ERP tools and systems or Delivering and/or authoring technical training.
- Create and maintain system documentation and ERP process instructions.
- Conduct regular system audits and testing to ensure optimal functionality.
- Proven experience as an Dynamics AX engineer, architect, or similar role.
- Extensive experience with on-premises implementations and managing ERP software and third-party interfaces.
- Strong understanding of performance tuning methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with key stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft certifications are preferred.
- Previous Consulting and/or customer-facing role.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Enterprise level support and administration focused specifically with:
- AX performance and tuning optimization, Dynamics AX +Migration, on-premise and cloud and Power Apps.
- Expertise with all versions of Dynamics AX/F&O.
- Solving performance problems, query tuning, and optimization.
- Architectural experience for Dynamics AX.
- Delivering and/or authoring technical training.
- Knowledge of ERP software beyond Microsoft Dynamics AX (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Experience with system installation and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of business operations and processes.
- Experience training users on ERP systems.
- Performance Optimization and Tuning Capabilities.
- Backup and recovery.
- Ensuring High availability and Disaster recovery.
- Procedural and troubleshooting skills.
- Upgrade process.
- Dynamics AX administration, best practices, and health checks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in MECM/Intune and related technologies.
