AVP - Decision Analytics, Insurance

We are currently recruiting for AVP - Decision Analytics, Insurance (4 positions) for a NASDAQ-listed operations management and analytics company that helps businesses enhance growth and profitability in the face of relentless competition and continuous disruption.

Role & Responsibilities Overview:

• Insurance data and analytics domain expert who can provide strategic and tactical advisory services on data solutions and consult with senior business leaders.
• Assist clients to define and develop their data and AI roadmap, detailing the transformation initiatives and operating models to support these priorities.
• Conduct sessions to understand the client's needs utilizing standard and innovative consulting skills to deliver an optimal recommendation.
• Expected to work in close collaboration with the Client team on establishing relationships with stakeholders, identifying new opportunities, and areas of growth.
• Provide Project, Client and team Management and Monitor the progress of deliverables on a daily basis and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
• Develop business proposals, facilitate client working sessions, team up with technology professionals and/or third-party strategic alliances to conduct solutioning exercises based on client's needs.
• Participate and own various new RFPs, work with various SMEs to research and develop technical/business case studies.
• Provide technical direction/support to project team members across data modeling, data manipulation, visualization, predictive modeling, Reporting and Automation projects across the Insurance Value Chain
• Ensure Industry best practices are followed, Communicate and follow up with the delivery team.
• Brainstorming on pain areas/Identifying reasons for issues/Issue Resolution, diagnosis of inefficiencies in the current process and figuring out ways to resolve it.

Key Skillsets -

• Experienced in the execution of delivery of a range of data management, analytics, artificial intelligence consulting and delivery engagements.
• Demonstrated experience in building relationships with executive-level clients.
• Support the engagement with expertise in deploying data solutions on Cloud, advanced analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
• Hands-on experience in the successful implementation of DataOps, including advanced data modeling and management techniques.
• Establish an environment of learning and development to continuously strengthen delivery propositions for various analytics setups.
• Encourage and keep team members motivated to develop innovative solutions; Establish industry standard framework for absorbing the latest development in the industry.
• Perform research and provide solutioning for various business needs from clients across the insurance value chain.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply.
• 10+ years of data and analytics consulting experience from a professional or management firm and has a strong focus in the insurance industry.
• Experience in working in dual shore engagement and must have experience in managing large programs Insurance Analytics CoE and multiple clients directly.
• Demonstrated experience across the analytics value chain and has delivered multiple data, BI, Automation, Predictive Modeling, Business consulting and delivery assignments.
• Competitor analysis, Ad-hoc data analysis and application of First principles thinking approach to solve business problems.
• Complete understanding and demonstrated experience of Cloud Services (AWS), modern data architecture, governance, and practices. Strong grasp of the latest tools within the market.
• Strong record of achievement, solid analytical ability, and an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges.
