Senior QA Automation Engineer, Product & Engineering

In this exciting role you will be working alongside Product and supporting the engineering team

Measures of success –

In the first few months, you would have:

  • In 1 month achieve a good understanding of the product and be able to fix small features or bugs with assistance from your team colleagues

  • In 2 months you should be able to build and break up a mid size feature fairly independently and take it to production

  • In 3 months you should be able to take up larger epics and break it up into smaller features that can be assigned to your colleagues and work with them to deliver it to production as a feature lead.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Estimate and plan test activities in the project

  • Plan and drive automation testing within the product

  • Creating test strategy, test plans and test cases and other related documentation

  • Define gaps and suggest a solutions for the current SDLC

  • Control deployment flow from test to production environments

  • Support the execution of manual activities and release process

  • Perform bug tracking and reporting

  • Participate in all Scrum ceremonies

  • Participate in maintaining and extending test automation

What you will need:

  • Confident in verbal and written English, used as our business language

  • Experienced in testing web applications

  • Strong knowledge of JS and Cypress framework or equivalent.

  • Good knowledge of Git

  • Understanding of core testing and CI processes

  • Experience in test planning and estimating

  • Good understanding of microservices architecture

  • Basic understanding of test automation methodologies

  • Experience of testing complex solution integrations

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate to stakeholders on multiple levels
