About the Role:

i4DM (www.i4DM.com) is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer and Systems Integrator with strong consulting skills and hands-on experience to join i4DM's fast-growing team. For this fully remote role, we're looking for team members who bring experience with designing, implementing, and managing leading on premises and cloud solutions. We're looking for team members that can expand their skill sets through learning new technologies. As i4DM continues to expand our commitment to security and quality through ISO and CMMC certifications, we're looking for team members who bring experience understanding and implementing NIST standards. An understanding of networks as well as systems is ideal in this role.

i4DM provides a wide array of Managed and Enterprise Services, including infrastructure support, data protection and security, cloud services, server virtualization, and Help Desk support. We perform ongoing proactive services to prevent cybersecurity incidents and ensure optimal network performance for our clients as well as reactive services to support break-fix activities. In addition, we perform project-based work support Microsoft and Salesforce technologies, migration services, backup configuration and support, and best practice consulting services. Our new Senior Systems Engineer will be a key contributor to all initiatives!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide second to none consulting services to i4DM's customers.
  • Design and implement enterprise solutions considering best in class technology as well as customer requirements and constraints.
  • Work as a team to discuss options for design and collaboratively agree on the best approach.
  • Identify, design, test, document, and integrate network improvements.
  • Analyze current systems and identify, design, implement, test, and document improvements.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures.
  • Design, configure, and manage client networks and systems.
  • Attend business development meetings and assist sales team in planning and estimating project work.
  • Quickly develop new skills with new technologies as network and customer requirements change.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 and 3 Help Desk tickets, document resolution
  • Perform on-site client work as scheduled.
  • Recommend positive alternative ways of implementation.
  • Grow skills through training and certifications.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Keep abreast of the development of relevant IT and telecommunications systems, hardware, and software applications within the industry.

Qualifications

  • Expertise, with a minimum of (3) years practical on the job experience, with Office 365/Microsoft 365 Services including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, security and more. Experience leading or implementing an M365 migration is a plus.
  • Expertise in the design, configuration, and management of Active Directory (AD) and/or Azure Active Directory/Entra ID.
  • Expertise with Windows Desktopsupport.
  • Expertise designing, implementing, configuring, and monitoring virtual environments
  • Expertise with building and managing servers including ongoing maintenance. This includes domain controllers, print servers, sync with M365, web servers and database servers as well as certificates and backups.
  • Expertise with NIST800-171 controls
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server environments including SQL Failover clusters and SQL Always on Availability group set up.
  • Familiarity with designing, configuring, managing, and monitoring Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Familiarity with firewalls, switches, and wireless networks, ability to manage existing network.
  • Familiarity with endpoint detection and response software.
  • Familiarity with SANs.
  • Familiarity with supporting UPS devices.
  • Familiarity with assessing network security.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers verbally and in writing.
  • Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
