This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilledRemote Orthopedic Pro-Fee Coderto join our team, supporting accurate and efficient medical coding for orthopedic services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background inorthopedic-specific coding expertise, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign accurateICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codesfor orthopedic diagnoses, procedures, and services.

  • PerformOrthopedic codingto support value-based care initiatives.

  • Review medical records for completeness and compliance with coding guidelines.

  • Work within multipleEMR systemsand adapt to project-specific workflows.

  • Meet or exceedproductivity and quality metricsconsistently.

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve coding discrepancies.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge ofcoding regulations, including CMS and payer-specific guidelines.


  • Requirements

  • Active coding certification required(e.g.,RHIA, RHIT, CPC, COC, CIC, CRC, or CCS).

  • Must be Physically located in the US

  • Minimum 2 years of Orthopedic experience(orthopedic coding preferred).

  • Proficiency inICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, with a focus on orthopedic specialties.

  • Experience withmultiple EMR systems; familiarity with other Multi-Specialty codingis a plus.

  • Ability to maintain95%+ accuracywhile meeting productivity standards.

  • Private, distraction-free workspacewithhigh-speed internet(hard-wired connection required).

  • Must be available duringbusinesshours Mon-Friday for the first week of training.

  • Must pass abackground check, drug test, credential verification, and possess ahigh school diploma or GED.

  • Schedule & Work Environment
  • Full-time, fully remoteposition.

  • Initial training requires business hours Mon-Friday; flexible scheduling may be available afterward.

  • Stable, high-speed internet and a professional home office setup are required.
