The Process Improvement Professional 2 analyzes, and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. The Process Improvement Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.The Process Improvement Professional 2 researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost. Determines how new information technologies can support re-engineering business processes. May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and re-engineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications
- An associate degree in business or equivalent business experience.
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar capacity of supporting insurance or managed care business. Medicaid, Medicare, Long-Term Care experience is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports, dashboards, charts and graphs
- Experience with Insurance processes
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Attention to detail, with ability to prepare business documents reporting analysis findings and offering suggestions for performance improvement.
- Ability to be flexible and work independently to meet business demands.
- Ability to utilize research tools and information to obtain business measures.
- Knowledge of computers and the use of various software programs
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimally 2 years of documentation, audit, and analysis experience in a managed care or insurance environment
- Familiarity with CMS Compliance guidelines
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid Compliance Reporting Standards
- Experience with Financial reporting and/or pharmacy data
- Familiarity with TruCare

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
