Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled D365 F&O Technical & Data Migration Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading data migration strategies, overseeing technical implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) solutions, and guiding technical teams across global projects. This is a fully remote role for individuals with deep expertise in D365, AX, and data transformation using Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end data migration process for D365 F&O implementations, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple modules.
- Design and implement data migration strategies involving legacy systems, staging databases, and D365 F&O data entities.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of ERP data migration activities.
- Develop custom SSIS packages, stored procedures, and scripts to support complex data transformations.
- Build, lead, and mentor a technical team focused on D365 migrations and integrations.
- Drive technical design discussions, provide architectural guidance, and recommend best practices.
- Ensure adherence to data quality standards, compliance, and security protocols during migration.
- Document technical solutions, data mappings, and transformation rules.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of IT experience, with a strong focus on D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and AX (2009/2012).
- Proven expertise in data migration tools and methodologies, especially in large-scale global ERP implementations.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server, Power BI, and MSBI suite (SSRS, SSAS).
- Experience with .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET), Azure, and integration tools like BizTalk is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to performance and optimization.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a virtual/remote setup.
- Excellent communication, client handling, and documentation skills.
