Honeycomb helps engineering teams understand their production systems — fast. We’re building the future of observability for modern software, and our SDKs are how developers connect their code to Honeycomb’s powerful insights. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who loves building developer tools and thrives in open source environments.
You’ll join a small, dedicated team responsible for building and maintaining Honeycomb’s Frontend SDKs — the libraries that power instrumentation across mobile, web, and backend applications. This is a hands-on role where you’ll shape the developer experience for thousands of engineers, collaborating closely with the OpenTelemetry community and internal product teams.
You’ll work across multiple SDKs and platforms, helping ensure consistency, reliability, and ease of use. You’ll also play a key role in driving new SDK initiatives — for example, exploring how we can better support mobile frameworks like Flutter.
