We're looking for a Software Development Engineer to build and own the backend services and mobile integrations that power our two consumer mobile applications: Hiya AI Phone and Hiya Spam Blocker.
Requirements
- Experience shipping Node.js services in production environments
- Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services (deployment, scaling, monitoring)
- Experience building backend systems that serve mobile applications
- Familiarity with iOS and/or Android development—enough to collaborate effectively on SDK integration and debug platform-specific issues
- Ability to design and operate services with high availability and low latency requirements
- Clear communication and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams (Seattle and London)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development techniques and workflows
