As a Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for the design, integrity, and quality of the SAP solution, as well as the related IS services delivered to Business, Support Functions, and IS-Technology domains. You'll ensure that the SAP solution and services provide the required functionality and meet business requirements. In addition, you'll collaborate on project setup and delivery and contribute to the continuous improvement of service operations.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Validating and prioritizing incoming business demand in collaboration with Project Owners, Business Functions and Units, as well as with the relevant IS Business Analyst, IS Service Manager, IS Application Manager, and/or Global IS Domain Architect

  • Translating functional designs into functional and technical specifications, and reviewing and signing off on functional and technical use case specifications

  • Determining non-functional requirements and ensuring service/solution operation standards are considered accordingly

  • Collaborating with users in projects and problem management to maintain, develop, and deploy the most feasible and cost-efficient IS solutions/services for the business

  • Maintaining and creating solution documentation and training materials

  • Consulting users to identify and understand current procedures and to clarify further requirements

  • Supporting the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of all SAP processes related to the area of responsibility

  • Committing to and contributing to results-oriented collaboration across various business process IS architectural domains and enterprise technology IS architecture domains

  • Providing support to temporary work teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, and sharing expert knowledge and advice, with or without line responsibility

Your background

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in of Engineering in Computer science (preferred) or related discipline

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience within Information Technology industry where 8+ years of solution architecture experience across various IT areas with focus in the areas of S/4 Haha system, particularly & 5+ years of solution architecture experience of global projects in your domain of expertise

  • Minimum 3+ years of team lead experience coordinating onsite & offshore teams

  • Certification in S/4 HANA (Sales & Distribution preferable)

  • SAP ABAP programming and SAP ALE- IDOC experience (preferred)

  • Proven experience implementing SAP best practices

  • Highly adept at bridging, translating and integrating business with IT, and converting business requirements into IT solutions

  • Fluent English language and good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with business and IT stakeholders

  • International work experience in different countries/ cultures
