Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & PowerPoint Specialist to create visually appealing designs and professional presentations. This role involves designing graphics, formatting slides, and ensuring all materials align with brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design graphics for presentations, reports, and marketing materials

  • Create and format PowerPoint presentations with clean, engaging layouts

  • Ensure consistency in branding, colors, and typography

  • Edit and improve existing presentations and design assets

  • Collaborate with team members to understand project needs and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.

  • Basic experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or similar)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and other professional tools for graphic design and production.

  • Strong attention to detail and creativity

  • Good communication and time management skills

  • Experience with presentation storytelling or data visualization (preferred)

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines (preferred)

For California only (as required by California’s Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162): A good faith estimate of the expected hourly rate for this position in our California office salary range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire is $70 - $85 per hour. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi America’s variable pay program, subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
