The position: Harvest Hosts’ success depends on a robust, high-quality network of “Hosts”—the small businesses and attractions that welcome RVers overnight. We are seeking an ambitious, relationship-focused Account Executive to recruit new Hosts and expand the supply side of our network.
In this role, you will manage a pipeline of farms, wineries, breweries, distilleries, nonprofits, agritourism sites, and other unique businesses; educate them on the value of joining Harvest Hosts; and guide them through the onboarding process. You will collaborate closely with the Host Marketing & Partnerships team to optimize lead flow and conversion.
This position will report to the Associate Director of Sales and is fully remote.
Please note: This role is focused exclusively on Host acquisition (supply-side growth), not D2C member sales.
Travel requirement: Approximately 10-15% travel to industry trade shows and events, including occasional weekend travel
Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring 3–5+ years of inside and/or field sales experience, a solid understanding of B2B sales fundamentals, and strong CRM proficiency (HubSpot experience preferred). Candidates should be data-minded, organized, and comfortable owning a full-cycle sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a pipeline of prospective Host locations and achieve monthly application and activation targets.
- Establish and execute an outreach cadence to drive high contact and conversion rates.
- Market and promote the Harvest Hosts program to potential Hosts and industry partners.
- Leverage multiple communication channels (email, phone, text) to nurture inbound MQLs and convert them into active Hosts.
- Research and prospect new Host opportunities in target and emerging geographies and industries; assess viability and build relationships to secure Host sign-ups.
- Attend relevant trade shows and industry events (approx. 15% travel, including occasional weekends) to represent Harvest Hosts, educate potential Hosts, and develop strategic partnerships.
- Conduct “field days” to meet with existing Hosts, learn from top performers, refine your pitch, and engage potential new Hosts on-site.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead and pipeline data within HubSpot.
- Collaborate with Host Marketing, Partnerships & Host Success to create recruiting enablement resources (e.g., templates, case studies, one-pagers).
Compensation: Harvest Hosts is a venture-backed company. Compensation for this role includes an annual base salary and variable compensation tied to Host sign ups. Annual base salary will be based on experience but will range from $55,000 to $60,000 annually.
