This is a position within Haldren and not with one of its clients.
This position suits someone who is comfortable working across different research requests, managing deadlines, and maintaining a high standard of quality in day-to-day output. The analyst will work independently in a remote environment, interfacing directly with internal stakeholders and contributing to the quality and reliability of Haldren's research capability.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market research across a range of sectors, companies, and business topics
- Gather, verify, and organise information from multiple sources
- Prepare summaries, briefs, and research outputs for internal use
- Analyse findings and present them in a clear and structured format
- Track developments, trends, and relevant market activity as required
- Maintain research files, reference materials, and working documents
- Support ad hoc research requests with accuracy and good turnaround times
- Contribute to continuous improvement by helping refine research processes and documentation
Requirements
- Experience in market research, business research, intelligence, or a related analytical role
- Strong ability to work with information in a structured and accurate way
- Good written English and the ability to present findings clearly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to source accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Confidence working independently in a remote environment
- Good judgement when handling research requests and interpreting findings
- Comfortable using online research tools, spreadsheets, and standard office software
Nice to Have- Experience supporting internal business, commercial, or strategy-focused research
- Exposure to company research, competitor research, or industry analysis
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability
- Experience preparing slides, summaries, or briefing materials
- Familiarity with professional services, recruitment, or consulting environments
