We are Guidepost Montessori, and our journey began in 2016 with a clear and ambitious mission: to make an authentic Montessori education accessible to more children and families. We started with the opening of our first campuses in the United States, driven by a passionate team of educators, parents, and entrepreneurs who believed in the power of Montessori to transform lives. From the very beginning, our goal wasn't just to open schools, but to be a catalyst for change in the broader educational landscape. We are dedicated to guiding and empowering each child as they grow in their independence, fostering a lifelong love of learning.

We are committed to clear, jargon-free communication to help newcomers understand and embrace the Montessori approach. Our founding team, Higher Ground Education, operates our global network of schools, all united by the singular vision of helping children develop the agency, skills, and character to thrive.
