Groupe BBL

Groupe BBL began in 1997 when BBL Transport developed road groupage solutions linking France with the Balkans, Turkey and Central Europe. What started as a focused transport operation soon expanded into a broader logistics network built around close partnerships with specialist logistics businesses. The company adopted a distinctive federation model in which each participating company retains its own identity, management and specialist expertise while contributing to a shared international supply-chain platform.

Today, Groupe BBL coordinates those specialists across four principal areas: contract logistics, overseas transport, road transport and groupage, and customs and compliance services. Its network covers major markets across Europe, Africa, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East, supporting solutions ranging from cross-docking and local distribution to customs clearance, sensitive freight and complex overseas movements. As the federation expanded through organic growth and acquisitions, its employee base grew to approximately 2,300 people by 2025. The group remains headquartered in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, France, and combines the responsiveness of human-scale subsidiaries with the reach and coordinated capabilities required by international supply chains.
