Head of Supply Chain (Relocation Package Available)

Global Life Science Hub has partnered with a one-of-a-kind, global CDMO that specializes in providing comprehensive development and manufacturing services. With an additional 50% growth expected in the Iowa site before the end of 2024, we’re searching for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist who will be expected to spearhead their Iowa Supply Chain operations.

This is a 100% on-site role with relocation assistance available in Iowa. This is an exceptional for an experienced Manager who would like to take a step up and oversee an entire Supply Chain team, reporting directly to the General Manager and given the opportunity to relocate out of any major busy cities to join one of America’s most affordable states in the Heartland of America.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business goals.
• Manage relationships with global suppliers, product management, and operations.
• Optimize supply chain processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to drive supply chain improvements.
• Implement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
• Establish standards and guidelines for logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Oversee inventory management and demand planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management (preferably in a manufacturing environment or other regulated industry).
• Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
