- Review lesson plans/scripts, intake forms, and prior notes to tailor each session.
- Prepare required materials (mask, colored papers, marbles, sound files, journal, etc.).
- Test Zoom setup (camera framing, lighting, audio, background) and take 1–2 minutes for personal grounding.
Parent Coordination and Communication
- Ensure a parent/guardian is present for the first three sessions and clarify their observer role.
- Note how parent presence/absence affects focus and include this in documentation.
- Send warm, concise follow-ups to parents via the platform after each session.
Live Instruction and Child Engagement
- Deliver the provided MindSee-style lesson plans in sequence and on time.
- Use expressive voice, gestures, and playfulness to engage; pace/adjust based on energy and focus.
- Apply specific, descriptive reinforcement (“I noticed how calm you stayed…”) and keep camera centered for observation.
Observation, Documentation, and Follow-Up
- Capture detailed notes in TutorCruncher after each session (exercises completed, focus/mood, challenges, successes, adjustments, next steps).
- Upload/link video snippets highlighting breakthroughs or consistency when applicable.
- Share short, optional home-practice reminders and gratitude in parent summaries.
Professionalism and Team Collaboration
- Start and end sessions on time; maintain a clean, quiet, child-safe environment.
- Model emotional regulation; report concerns to the lead coordinator promptly.
- Review weekly notes for trends and participate in end-of-week team reviews.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience teaching/coaching children ages 4–16 in live, on-camera or classroom settings.
- Exceptional verbal English communication with charismatic, confident on-camera presence.
- Available 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm EST; highly punctual and reliable.
- Professional home setup: HD webcam, clear audio (headset or mic), good lighting, neutral background, and stable high‑speed internet.
- Proficient with Zoom and session documentation; able to follow structured lesson plans precisely and write clear, parent-friendly notes.
- WFH Set-Up:
- Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
- Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
- Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
- Back-up computer and internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
- Child engagement and rapport-building; playful, expressive, and empathetic.
- Emotional intelligence and self-regulation; calm under pressure and patient with all learners.
- Strong instructional facilitation; can adjust pacing based on attention and energy.
- Keen observation and documentation; detail-focused with crisp, descriptive writing.
- On-camera presence; vocal variety, facial expressiveness, and confident delivery.
- Tech fluency: Zoom, TutorCruncher (or similar CRMs), Google Workspace, WhatsApp.
- Comfortable capturing/uploading short video highlights when needed.
- Openness to AI tools (e.g., Lovable) to streamline workflows and preparation.
