  • You take initiative, set high-quality standards, and keep an eye on ways to improve your work.

  • You work independently, document and process the test results, draw conclusions, and report these to the team.

  • You are able to understand the fundamental concepts behind the assays and will contribute to setting-up new, innovative assays, in close collaboration with a scientist.

Requirements

  • You have a completed HLO (BSc) or MSc degree in Life Sciences and have minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of immunology and/or oncology.

  • You have extensive experience with flow cytometry (FACS), isolation of primary cells from human blood, culturing of adherent and primary cells, and various functional cellular assays (viability, co-culture, etc.).

  • You have hands-on experience with cell and molecular biology techniques like lentiviral particle generation and transductions, western blotting, ELISA, CRISPR. You are comfortable with medium-high throughput techniques.

  • Experience in the field of chronic inflammatory diseases/autoimmunity is an advantage.

  • You recognize the importance of working according to a quality system, which includes adhering to procedures and detailed documentation of your work.

  • Experience with electronic laboratory notebook reporting is an advantage.

  • You are flexible and capable of running several projects parallel to each other, adjusting priorities appropriately together with the team.

  • You love to work in the lab and face experiments with a problem-solving attitude and inspire others with your ‘getting things done’ mentality.

  • You are enthusiastic, goal-oriented, efficient, and accurate and you enjoy working in a team and as a team.

  • You welcome and use feedback as an opportunity to learn and grow.

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, and you are fluent in English, both written and verbal.

  • You bring rigor and excellence to all that you do. You are a fierce believer in our rooted-in-science approach to problem-solving
  • You are a generous collaborator who can work in teams with diverse backgrounds
  • You are determined to do and be your best and take pride in enabling the best work of others on the team
  • You are not afraid to grapple with the unknown and be innovative
  • You have experience working in a fast-growing, dynamic company (or a strong desire to)
