Job Summary:
The IT Business Analystwill play a pivotal role in supporting the project leadership team for a strategic IT organization transformation project for a Federal Healthcare client). As a crucial member of thePortfolio Managementteam, this individual willfacilitatethe smooth operation of meetings, manage actionable items, and ensure thetimelyprogress of project activities, all while staying closely aligned with the overarching strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The IT Business Analyst ensures efficient workflow and communication, shaping the backbone of our success. Your role emphasizes organizational precision and proactive support for our leadership team. Your efforts are central to the smooth running and strategic alignment of project activities.Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop meeting agendas, take thorough notes, and document progress towards completing action items.
- Schedule meetings, confirm attendance of participants, and track the readiness of meetings.
- Provide managerial support by prioritizing risks and priorities needing leadership attention.
- Coordinate cross-team outreach to stakeholders in collaboration with project teams.
- Draft professional emails for leadership,designatedto teams and executive clients.
- Remain consistently informed about the overall project strategy, reflecting this understanding in all tasks performed.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a business analyst role.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
- Proficient project management skills, notably in GMC.
- Demonstrated experience with requirements managementtools
- A proactive and team-oriented approach to tasks, coupled with an ability to work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field.
- Eligibility to obtain security clearance is mandatory.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working with healthcare-related government entities.
- Previousexperience with JIRA and Confluence is highly desired.
- An enthusiastic, balanced, and resilient disposition is favored.
- Willingness to commit to the program full-time for a duration of24 months.
- An energetic,upbeatand even-keeledattitude is desirable.
- Professional demeanor suitable for interacting with senior executive clients.
Minimum Education:
- BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Required Certifications:
- Project management or Agile certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe)are preferredbut not mandatory.
