Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction and guidance to craft labor in support of power equipment outages
- Develop conceptual knowledge within the professional discipline, including collaboration with specialized support roles that provide expert technical knowledge
- Apply general business knowledge gained through education or prior experience, and understand how the work of the team contributes to overall business objectives
- Resolve issues using established procedures and guidelines; escalate topics outside defined parameters to the supervisor or senior team members
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to analyze and solve technical and operational issues
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, act as the primary interface between the customer and GE
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma combined with relevant professional experience or equivalent
- Proven experience in Field Service or Technical Advisory roles
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel extensively (85–90%) to customer sites in Poland and internationally
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document, plan, present, and execute technical programs effectively
- Fluent English both spoken and written
