The Sales Associate plays a key supporting role within the local sales team, serving as a point of contact for new client setup, sales enablement, media planning, and day-to-day administrative needs. This role is essential in driving operational efficiency, supporting revenue-generating activities, and enhancing client engagement through timely and accurate support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Onboarding & Account Setup:
Serve as the primary point of contact for setting up new client accounts, including providing billing guidance, sharing the credit application link, and coordinating payment option communications.
• Sales Resources & Enablement:
Act as a resource for sales essentials including case studies, rate cards, sales guidelines, and required forms. Submit custom insights and sales enablement requests on behalf of the team.
• Market & Client Research:
Conduct readership and market insights research and clean up client-provided data files for match-back requests (1–2 per week).
• Data Validation & CRM Compliance:
Review prospect lists provided by Account Executives to validate data and ensure compliance with Rules of Engagement using Salesforce.
• Media Planning & Event Support:
Assist with media planning and provide support for local market events, trade shows, and sales collateral such as flyers and one-sheets.
• Leadership Support:
Provide administrative and sales support to the Market Leader and/or General Manager as needed.
• Account Management:
Manage up to 20 small accounts, as needed.
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in sales support, marketing, or media preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
