We are Gameopedia, a Norway-based team focused on making video game information consistent, searchable, and useful across the global gaming industry. Our job starts with a practical problem: stores, publishers, and platforms often describe the same title differently, leaving duplicate records, conflicting genres, missing context, and a great deal of manual cleanup. We bring those scattered records together into trusted, structured game data that can support storefront catalogs, search, recommendations, advertising, automatic content recognition, and AI workflows.

Our team combines gaming expertise with detailed data work and has been building this foundation since 2008. Today, our library includes more than 180,000 game titles, editions, and downloadable content combined, alongside more than 22,000 selectable taxonomy attributes. We serve digital retailers, cloud-gaming services, digital distributors, and other parts of the gaming ecosystem. With teams in Oslo and Hyderabad, we are focused on helping people discover games that suit how they want to play while giving businesses and AI systems a dependable foundation for understanding games.
