Role Overview

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Futurae, you will work closely with our engineering team and other internal stakeholders to develop and maintain the testing infrastructure and processes for our entire product stack. Your role will involve reviewing requirements, creating test plans and cases, executing tests, identifying and tracking bugs, and ensuring overall product quality. You will also contribute to the improvement of our testing strategies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
• Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and cases
• Coordinate and execute testing activities, including manual but mainly automated testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
• Conduct regression testing and performance testing as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements and improve product quality
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new testing tools and techniques

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases
• Proficiency in both manual but mainly automated testing
• Experience with bug tracking tools
• Knowledge of regression testing and performance testing
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in testing mobile applications (Android and iOS)
• Experience with security testing
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Certifications in quality assurance or testing are a plus
