Academic Counselor ( Remote )

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis.

As an Academic Counselor, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting students in their academic journey. You will be responsible for providing personalized guidance and support to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals and ensuring their success. This is a remote position, so you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic counseling and guidance to students on course selection, academic planning, and career development.
• Conduct assessments to identify students' academic strengths and weaknesses and develop personalized academic plans for each student.
• Monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback to help them stay on track and reach their academic goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and other academic staff to ensure students' academic needs are met.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends and resources to provide the best support to students.
• Communicate with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' academic progress and address any concerns.
• Organize and conduct workshops and seminars to educate students on study skills, time management, and other academic-related topics.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' academic progress and counseling sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic counseling or advising.
• Strong knowledge of academic programs and requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in using technology for remote counseling.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
