AI-powered SmartPricing and SmartMarketing Agents that optimize pricing and launch targeted campaigns automatically.
Deep CRM and inventory integrations that prevent double bookings and improve attribution tracking.
Flexspace AI is fully remote, with a multidisciplinary team across the US, Canada, Israel, Turkey, Philippines and Vietnam, supporting a genuinely async culture across time zones.
Role Overview
We're hiring a Product Engineer to build the e-commerce platform powering the next generation of coworking spaces. You'll work directly with founders and an international team across 6 countries to:
Discover, design, and deliver product features that drive bookings, revenue, and occupancy for coworking operators.
Shape the product experience and architecture of an AI-powered e-commerce platform end-to-end.
Help define the culture, processes, and tooling of a remote, async-first engineering organization.
What You'll Do
Own problems end-to-end: work with founders and operators to understand needs, then spec, design, and ship product features that drive bookings and revenue.
Build and evolve our SmartPricing and SmartMarketing agents—pricing rules, targeting logic, and performance monitoring.
Create seamless booking experiences with instant payment from operator websites.
Integrate with coworking CRMs, inventory systems, and analytics tools to sync data and prevent double bookings.
Use AI tools (Cursor, Claude) to accelerate development while maintaining sound judgment on architecture and trade-offs.
Write clear specs, RFCs, and PR descriptions that enable async collaboration across time zones.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We prioritize these qualities top-down—technical skills can be acquired rapidly by candidates with raw intelligence, low ego, and willingness to work hard.
Async-first communication excellence
You write clear, structured messages, specs, and documentation that make meetings optional in a globally distributed team.
You can explain complex product and technical decisions in writing to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders like operators, sales, and customer success.
You keep teammates across the US, Canada, Israel, Turkey, Philippines and Vietnam unblocked with detailed PR descriptions, status updates, and decision logs rather than waiting for synchronous check-ins.
Product-minded, high-agency ownership with speed bias
You have high agency and accountability: you proactively clarify ambiguous problems, ask the right questions to stakeholders, remove blockers, and drive work from idea to impact without waiting for hand-holding.
You are a fast learner who can quickly pick up new domains, tools, and concepts, especially around AI, pricing, and B2B SaaS workflows.
You are genuinely interested in the product, customers, and business context, not just the tech stack.
You treat engineering as a way to drive operator revenue, bookings, and occupancy—not just to ship code.
You are comfortable making pragmatic trade-offs between scope, speed, and robustness, especially when iterating toward product–market fit.
You prefer shipping a "minimum lovable" version this week and learning from operators over polishing in isolation.
Technical versatility with strong fundamentals
Track record of building and maintaining production web products, ideally in B2B SaaS.
Our programming languages include Ruby, TypeScript, and Python. The majority of your time will be spent working in Ruby and TypeScript codebases.
Strong fundamentals in system design, data modeling, API design, and debugging across the stack.
Comfortable working across frontend, backend, and integrations, and jumping into unfamiliar parts of the codebase.
Experience using AI coding assistants as leverage, not as a substitute for sound engineering judgment.
Benefits
Compensation up to $4k/month, full-time freelance contract (Vietnam, Turkey)
Stock options and new MacBook upon successful probation
AI tools budget (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot)
Founder-track learning at global scale—master product, engineering, and go-to-market for international B2B SaaS
