- Maintains high degree of confidentiality / encourage and promote safe environments / maintains positive collaboration when communicating with all contacts.
- Supervises, trains, and coordinates activities of team members. Prepares and submits payroll.
- Oversees team members to ensure location data and documents are being uploaded in the compliance system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Performs quality assurance audits
- Lead team of direct reports; inspire, coach, develop, and motivate them to ensure they are providing high quality customer service, delivering on their commitments, and maximizing their potential.
- Build and maintain strong relations with internal customers
- Monitors and redistributes workload among team members as necessary to meet team goals
- Serves as first contact for problem-solving on all issues between team and local users or region/area staff.
- Provides compliance reports to Area/Region leaders
- Mobilizes team to support onsite activities at locations as needed
- Other responsibilities as required or requested
Minimum Education or Certifications Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience or Skills Required
- 5 years’ experience in operations, transportation preferred, 2 years management experience
- Strong Knowledge of DOT federal and state rules and regulations
- Ability to provide leadership, training and coaching for Driver Compliance Coordinators, and program users
- Experience in project management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills both written and verbal ability to develop, manage and elevate a team.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office programs. Experience with other software such as timekeeping and payroll systems is preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Employee must be able to work in an office environment to move about the office space.
- Walk through bus yard when traveling to locations.
- Travel required, up to 20%
