About the Role Impact you will make As an Event Marketing Intern within our Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the visibility and effectiveness of FinThrive at key industry tradeshows. Your efforts in managing and supporting these events will directly contribute to our brand’s presence and lead generation, ultimately impacting our marketing success and business growth.
What you will do
- Assist in the coordination of tradeshow logistics, including material ordering, lead capture setup, lead management and Salesforce campaign requests
- Update and maintain the events page on FinThrive.com with upcoming event details to ensure accurate and timely information is available.
- Submit invoices for event-related expenses and track costs to budget.
- Set up and manage comprehensive project plans for tradeshows and annual corporate sponsorships using tools like Asana, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Deploy and track post-event trip reports, gather feedback and update dashboards to analyze tradeshow results and effectiveness.
- Handle administrative tasks related to room block management and registration for events.
- Assist in pre-and post-event communications including email and social posts.
What you will bring
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and familiarity with updating websites and managing digital content.
- Competence in budget tracking and financial reconciliations, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Polished written and verbal communication skills.

- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, with relevant internship or job experience in corporate event management, marketing, or administrative roles
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to planning and execution, with a knack for anticipating needs and solving problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of working effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
- Enthusiasm for marketing and event management, along with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
