The company began when pharmacist Adeola Ayoola and product storyteller Umar Faruq Akinwunmi combined their 13 years of friendship to address healthcare challenges they experienced firsthand. To address this, they built Dispensary - an all-in-one pharmacyOS that combines inventory management, point-of-sale, and mobile scanning into a single Android terminal, eliminating the need for traditional desktop setups.

Their AI-powered platform is featured by Google as an Africa AI Pioneer, and the company has been recognized by TechCrunch Battlefield, Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, and the She Loves Tech competition.
