EG and PL onlyF5 is searching for a Consultant to help protect Global 2000 web applications from malicious and automated attacks. The successful candidate will lead and/or participate in design and implementation projects, establish trusted technical advisor relationships with customers, and own delivery of technical components for integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline OR equivalent industry work experience.
- 5+ years of system integration in complex environments preferably in the software/cybersecurity industry.
- 5+ years of experience providing Solutions engineering or professional services to large-scale enterprises.
- Experience in a technical role involving web operations, incident response, customer support, system monitoring, or a similar role
- Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, Javascript, CSS and other technologies involved in delivering sophisticated web services.
- Experience in configuring BIG-IP and iRules
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, vulnerability management, WAFs, threat detection, and experience in Layer 3 networking (routing, switching, traffic analysis, troubleshooting).
- Independent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
- Experience working with cybersecurity solutions
