Job Description
Reportig to the Director of EDI Enrollment, the EDI Payer Enrollment Coordinator will help manage the payer enrollment processes related to electronic data exchange between healthcare providers and payer organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the seamless integration of healthcare providers into payer networks through EDI enrollment procedures. You will work with both internal and external teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- You will coordinate and oversee the payer enrollment process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- You will collaborate with payer organizations to obtain and understand enrollment requirements
- You will verify the accuracy and completeness of enrollment materials before submission to payers
- You will conduct enrollment follow-up with payers and/or vendors regarding enrollment application statuses
- You will communicate with clients, payers, vendors, and internal staff to provide current enrollment statuses and answer outstanding questions
- You will identify, troubleshoot and resolve any enrollment issues
- You will provide training and support to clients on EDI enrollment procedures
- You will stay updated on payer enrollment changes and share knowledge with the team
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with the EDI Payer Enrollment processes
- Familiarity with X12 EDI standards
- An understanding of Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management
- The ability to manage a high volume of cases simultaneously
- Possess strategic thinking and tactical planning
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Associates Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field experience
