We are seeking a Staff Design Engineer/Technical Lead to join the Marmalade Design System team at Eventbrite. The successful candidate will help build and maintain our React design system library and design token architecture, while participating in the overall Marmalade ecosystem to evolve both design and engineering.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in CSS architecture and practices
  • Expertise in the concepts behind design systems and web technologies
  • Deep experience with React, Typescript, SCSS, CSS Modules, Style Dictionary, and Storybook
  • Solid knowledge of the Node.js ecosystem
  • Experience implementing manual and/or automated testing for UI components
  • Experience working on a fast-paced, multi-person design system
  • Experience working closely with designers and developing custom tools and processes
  • Hands-on experience with build, test, and release methods
